Dear Supporter,
to comply with charity and company law we are required to hold an Annual General Meeting, which this year will take place at 7:30 on Wednesday 9th November at The Scout Hall, Church Street, Weaverham – details as per the agenda below. I am also attaching the minutes of the last AGM in 2020.
This year the orchard has thrived and the trees have grown well. The weather this year has been good for apples and the trees produced plenty of fruit, thus our fears that the blossom would not be fertilised proved groundless. We should have had a bumper crop, had they not all been picked before they were properly ripe. Someone probably had tummy ache!
Our chair,Tina Johnson, will outline our progress with the orchard, the Wareham Russet and other heritage fruit trees.
So if you would care to join us for the meeting, we would be pleased to see you.
